Simon's favorite thing about music is finding a way to connect and relate to people from different parts of the world and his favorite thing about teaching music is helping people find their creative outlet and enriching their lives with a capacity to express themselves through an instrument. One of his favorite teaching experiences was when his teacher in college explained how a good drummer serves the band, and isn't necessarily always the most technical, just the one that understands what the music needs.
