I am a recent graduate of St. Mary's University, obtaining a Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance. While pursuing a Bachelor's, Andres was able to build himself up as a reliable up-and-coming drummer in the local San Antonio Jazz Scene, winning the Alamo All-Star Jazz mentorship rewarded to the best jazz musician in the Alamo Colleges. Andres has played with likes of Jason Valdez, Anthony Thomas Martinez, The Heritage Big Band, Kevin Nabors, The BluPrint, Gelina The Diamondbacks, along with his own groups The Andres Quartet, The After Hours. Andres studied under Joseph Caploe, putting him in a linage with some of the best local percussionists and drummers. My style of teaching is very laid back and focused heavily on the student's goals/vision to achieve their musical goals. I make a specific curriculum based on the needs/ wants of the student.
