I am 17 years old and live in Thomaston Georgia. Now don't let my young age let you think that I am not able to teach very well, I have actually been playing guitar and bass guitar for about 11 years now and am mostly self taught. I excel in my knowledge of music theory and applying that to how I play. I have been playing as the lead guitarist at my church Silvertown Baptist Church for about 9 years and occasionally take on students looking to learn from me. I also am a percussionist at my high school Upso lee high school. This past year I was chosen for the "Drum major" position which basically means that I am in charge of the entire band. I was also chosen as the Most valuable player of both my section and in the entire band. I have experience playing in professional environments alongside other players, as well as with college ensembles JSU, and Mercer University. In the future I plan on going to Jacksonville State University JSU, to major in music education and one day become a band director. While you might be a little concerned that I might not have enough experience to be an instructor, I promise that I will be a great teacher for you and possibly a great friend.
