I have been a student of music for 33 years. I've been a guitarist and vocalist in several working bands, and have played solo acoustic gigs throughout the Outer Banks of North Carolina, the New Jersey shore and the greater Gettysburg area. My musical influences include rock, pop, blues, old country, rockabilly, instrumental pieces and classical. My teaching style can best be described as "fun." My teaching philosophy can best be described by saying a bored mind is not an absorbent mind, while an engaged mind is a sponge. In my lessons, you can expect to learn music theory, chords and scales--and to keep it exciting--your favorite songs. My favorite thing about teaching is watching the progress of my students.
