Are you looking for a quality learning environment for your child instead of just a babysitter? Why pay high prices for an overcrowded daycare or nanny when you can have a more personalized and caring environment for an affordable rate?! Hi! My name is Heather and I have been working with children for the past 16 years. I have worked in several Keystone STARs childcare centers and have experience with all age groups. I love children and am excellent at creating lesson plans and projects to enhance the learning process. I have all of my FBI and child abuse clearances, cleared health assessments, CPR and First Aid certifications, and I am currently working on my bachelors in education. Not only will your child be cared for in a loving and nurturing environment, but he or she will learn and develop with academic support. Give me a call today for a tour of my home or email for more information!

Let us help you find and hire the right nanny to care for your child. There are many wonderful nannies out there, but finding and sorting through them to find a perfect match can be time consuming and overwhelming. We educate families on what the childcare market looks like and educate families in best practices in hiring. We walk families through the hiring process, step-by-step, to ensure that our clients make the best informed decisions. Our process is a mindful approach and a quality placement is one that both benefits the nanny and the family. We specialize in placing full-time, part-time and temporary nannies for busy professionals in Center City, South Philly and surrounding areas of Greater Philadelphia. We provide placement for full-time, part-time and temporary nannies. All nanny sourcing services begin with an initial in-home consultation where we get to know the family and discuss their needs. We then provide: - pre-screening candidates and lead generation - on-site interviewing support with each candidate and the family - reference checks - employment verification - background checks - hiring and payroll setup Additionally, we provide Day/Evening/Overnight/Weekend Postpartum Doula support.

Hello Parents! Five Peas in a Pod is a very small in-home daycare that has been in operation since 1994. A little about me, my name is Angela and I'm a 44 year old married mom of two daughters ages 22 and 19 years old. My husband, Dan, is a teacher in our local school district. We have one Boston Terrier, Spencer, who just turned 6 years old. The children in my care do not have access to him although he is as friendly as can be. I currently provide care for three little girls, ages 5 years old, soon to be 3 years old, and soon to be 2 years old. The five year old has been with me since she was 18 months old. She will be leaving to join her older sisters at day camp in mid-June and will then move on to kindergarten in September. So as of July 5th I will have 1 full-time opening available. A. is the three year old and she has been with me since last June. I met her family through a mutual friend. M. is the youngest and has been with me since she was 10 weeks old. I met her family via another daycare site. We spend our days doing crafts, singing songs, reading books, playing with toys, & weather permitting we are outside every day. I have a nice assortment of outdoor climbers and slides as well as bikes. We also devote time to kindergarten readiness. B. is able to recognize and write her entire alphabet (both upper and lower case), spell and write her first and last name, count and write her numbers 1 through 100, she is able to identify most letter sounds with the exception of the vowels (but we still have time!), and she can complete patterns. Just if not more importantly, she has developed problem solving skills, is kind and considerate of those around her, is able to share and take turns, and is eager to learn. She is ready for kindergarten! I take this responsibility very seriously and enjoy finding creative ways to engage the children in learning. I've included a link to my Facebook page, here you'll get an idea of what we do every day. Please feel free to contact me with any questions or to arrange a visit. Thank you for your time!

I m looking to welcome (3) children into my home for 30-50 hours a week at $10-$12 an hour. Ages welcomed are 2-6, (children who are not yet in school and have full days in need of care) Highlights of my Home Care: Child-Led Learning Letting the child being the initiator of their learning. I will have focused attention towards your child s interests, passions, and unique learning style and will be making strong efforts to bring any resources available to your child to facilitate their learning. And have fun doing so! I want to nurture and celebrate their natural sense of joy, wonder and belief in their own limitless potential. Emotional Support and Nurturance The most important aspect of childcare is connecting and meeting the emotional needs of children. I will create an environment for your child that allows them to be heard and express themselves freely without judgement. When they feel emotionally satisfied is when they are truly able to thrive and learn. Organic, Healthy, and Kid-Friendly Lunch and Snacks When it comes to picky eaters I know what I m dealing with. Children do not like to feel controlled when it comes to their diet, that s why I will take initiative in getting the children (even the very young ones) involved in the process. An example would be taking them to the farmers market and letting them pick the veggie that they would like to help me prepare, or finding ways to turn their favorite meals healthy with the best quality ingredients. Allowing choices helps children to feel included and empowered to eat healthy. *All included in the cost Weekly Fieldtrips As fulfilling as the indoor projects and playing will be, there s nothing quite like exploring! We will go on weekly outings to stimulate your child s mind and get natural sunlight. I am located right next to Cloverly Park, the Wissahickon River & Trails, The Zoo, The Touch It Children s Museum, and the Farmers Market. *All included in the cost Discipline - What sets me apart from most nannies is my way of dealing with negative behaviors. I believe in setting limits using gentle guidance instead of punitive punishments. I will never shame your child or give them time outs because I have a deep understanding that a child s bad behavior is simply them acting out a need that they are unable to communicate. Instead I will investigate the ro
