Danessa was a GODSEND. I sent my daughter here from 5 months to 3 years and have not regretted it for a second. As a first time mom, it's hard to know what to look for in a daycare before actually sending your baby. Danessa made the transition from home with mom/grandma to daycare such a natural one for my daughter. I laugh with my husband that it was she that chose Danessa because she absolutely hated the first more traditional day-care that we tried, but loved Danessa from day one!

With the mixed-age classroom, my daughter was ahead at almost everything. She talked fairly early and was counting to 10, recognizing colors, saying ABCs, singing and much more in both English and Spanish at 1yo. The space is clean, activities are interesting and engaging, and we get to follow along with pics throughout the day. When we moved away from Center City, we did a 1hr + round trip commute for a year just to take our daughter here.

I didn't understand or appreciate what an in-home daycare could bring until I tried ABC. The care and attention the kids here get is all that we hoped for and brought us great peace of mind especially during the pandemic. For all of us, but more so our daughter, Danessa was another extension of our family, and I would 100% recommend all parents to consider this option.

I really can't say enough good things about Danessa and ABC. My daughter began there when she was 4 months old, and my son at seven months. Danessa was the most loving care giver, with infinite energy. I always knew that the same person would be caring for my children and that they would be happy and engaged.

The space is immaculate, colorful, and just seeing pictures of my kids there made me smile. She also has an outdoor space, so kids always get a chance for some fresh air.
From a young age my kids always came home with art projects, and Danessa sends frequent updates and pictures, so you never have to worry if your child is being stimulated enough. My kids would come home proud, singing songs in English and Spanish. At 18 months, both my kids would mimic doing the ABCs at circle time. My daughter understood a fair amount of Spanish by the time she was 3, and it gave her so much confidence.

Danessa also always ensured their emotional needs were being met. When we had a new baby, she ensured the big kids were getting extra love and attention. I genuinely feel that Danessa gave our kids the best foundation I could hope for. There is nothing like leaving your children at school, and completely trusting they will be truly loved and cared for.

I will forever be grateful for the care that Miss Danessa & family at ABC has given our baby. As a first time mom, It was daunting having to take our baby to daycare & hard to know what's right, it can feel so scary to leave your kids with new people. At ABC, you feel how much they care from the very beginning. They were a huge support for us during this transition back into work. It allowed us to work and go about our day with peace of mind. We value their opinions immensely. They are always happy to communicate as well & I highly recommend this daycare.
Our daughter started when she was 12 weeks old & they took wonderful care with such love and diligence. I trust them completely, extremely competent as well as very loving, kind, and fun. Our daughter has also learned so much, goes on adventures to the local park and library! She's always coming home with little art projects and knows some Spanish at 19 months old now.

Our daughter absolutely loved going to ABC every day, had a big smile on her face when we would get to their door in the mornings. She loved Danessa & family and her friends at school. I love that she was able to learn, socialize, and have so much fun during the day. ABC is the perfect combination of a small, family feel with the professionalism, cleanliness, and safety of a daycare facility & it sure is clean, almost spotless!

My family and I moved outside of the city and it was so difficult to leave ABC, we even considered commuting back & forth so our daughter could stay at ABC. I know we will stay in touch and I will send them photos so they can see her grow. I will forever be grateful for them and the care they gave our daughter.

Our son, now almost 2 and a half, came to Danessa and Wes when he was just 2 months old and we just transitioned out because we moved out of the neighborhood. Amazing place, truly caring and kind and knowledgeable about infant and toddler development. My son learned how to be around other kids and started talking sooner then I thought he would. Danessa truly loves these kids. Also, we navigated the pandemic together. On the same page about vaccination and safety and it truly meant the world to me and my husband to know he was someplace safe during these uncertain times. I never worried about him when he was there. So grateful for this place.

Danessa and Luisa are amazing! My son is a quarantine baby and did not start care until 10 months. He was extremely attached to myself and his dad but Danessa and Luisa were so kind and loving with him. He eventually would walk in and say bye to me. I also loved that they were in constant communication with me throughout the day as needed and posted pictures so we could see what they have been doing! We moved out of state and therefore had to change daycares but I would definitely recommend them!

Having my daughter go to "school" at the Academy of Bilingual Children has been one of the best decisions we have ever made. My daughter is excited to see the teachers and her friends every morning, and I can't believe how much she has learned during her time there. She is only 17 months and is already saying a few Spanish words, lots of English words, and even the alphabet, all thanks to them. Thank you Ms. Danessa, Ms. Luisa and Mr. Wes!!!!

Danessa and her team are great and they took wonderful care of my 7 month old son while we were in Philly. Danessa was very flexible with me and worked with my sometimes not so flexible work schedule. My son always came home very happy and I really enjoyed the picture app they used so I could see how he was doing throughout the day as well. We moved out of state otherwise I would have loved to have kept my son here as he was very happy!

The Academy of Bilingual Children is a great daycare. I was between daycare centers after the center my daughter was attending closed, moved and raise their rates. Danessa contacted me through care.com literally minutes after i posted an ad. I was reluctant, but after my first visit i decided this was our school. My daughter jumped in like she had been there for years, made friends, went to the library, the park and learned Spanish among other daily learning activities. Fast forward a year later, we were accepted into Independence charter school for kindergarten where my daughter can continue to become fluent in Español. I would recommend the Academy of Bilingual Children to anyone. It's small, but thats part of the charm. There's nothing but love here.

There is no shortage of amazing things I can say about The Academy of Bilingual Children. Danessa was very flexible and accommodating with her hours and offered a happy, stable, and nurturing environment for my daughter to come. Unfortunately we had to move out of state, but Danessa is very missed!

Danessa is great. She is flexible with scheduling when I need it, and great with my 2.5 year old daughter. Everyday I go to pick my child up from daycare, she doesn't want to leave. She comes home signing Spanish songs, and identifies her colors in both Spanish and English. Highly recommended. She treats every child like her own.

My daughter attended this daycare for about a month before we had to move out of state. Mrs. Danessa and her husband were great to my daughter. She opened her home to us and treated my daughter as if she was her own. My daughter looked forward to going to daycare everyday. She assisted with teaching my daughter a second language (spanish). I appreciated everything Danessa has done for us. She has a great heart and is the best at what she does.

I am new to the city of Philadelphia so I had many reservations in terms of caregivers caring for my infant child. You can tell Danessa has a true and genuine passion for children. She is licensed, has all of her clearances, and she has the education to back it up. She is also very affordable. She understood my reservations being a mother herself so she offered FaceTime so that I can see my sweet baby. I am so glad I found her :)

I have a 3 year old daughter and one of the things that I was concern about was to leave her at a daycare center because she was in one before and she kept crying a lot,I asked my self How will I do because I have to work. I took my little angel to Ms. DD because a close friend recommend me her family daycare. Well, right after the next day I saw my daughter happier and She didn't cry like she did in a daycare center, I was surprised Because I was expecting the same thing over and over but I felt comfortable because that was a good sign. Now She is in Ms.DD Daycare for around 8 months and I definitely know that my daughter is in very good hands
