Hello, I am a stay at home mother with many years of experience in childcare. I have one part time/and or full time opening. 2-5 days a week, Monday through Friday, 8 weeks and older. I would also take on a before and after school age child that attends the same elementary school as my children. (2 kids if one family has 2 children needing care). I am looking for Kindergarten through 5th grade. I will do 5 days a week for before and after school. I would drop the children off to school in the mornings and pick up in the afternoons. Given that kids have homework, we would sit down and get that done right away daily. I am certified in CPR and First aid, etc. My husband and I have also done our fingerprints through the state of Colorado as part of the process. You are welcome to run a complete background check on us as well. I have many excellent references available upon request. My hours are 7 a.m. (negotiable) to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. I have a family of my own that I love spending time with and so I don't like to work much past 5-ish but that is also negotiable depending on the situation. I have a park that we walk to when weather permits. We do lots of fun things in the summer time around here. I have a back yard to play in, kids pool that the kids LOVE and other fun outdoor toys in the summer. For older kids we have scooters, bikes, and do those kind of things. We do arts and crafts activities when not in school. I have a 23 year old in college and an 21 year old and 3 grandsons, I also have a 12 year old son and a 10 year old daughter that really enjoy having kids around to play with. I believe in giving the children a comfortable "homey" feeling while in my care. LOTS of TLC. I personally believe that is the prefect recipe for a better place for the children while away from their home. I will provide healthy meals and/or snacks. Your child will love it here! When I had my 2nd son, I decided to be a stay at home mom and provide a loving home daycare for children whose parents have no choice but to work. What I give the children here in my home is exactly what I would want for my children if they had to be in a home daycare. I have a laid back environment here with fun, activities and daily learning.
