Nanny/Babysitter/Tutor/Youth Mentor

I am a very active, responsible and caring person. I do not have a certificate or degree in child care though I have many references of my dealings with children and the community for years past and I'm sure, years to come. I have a tribute plaque from the State of Michigan, a recognition award from a school board for my involvements at various schools and I have a trophy from a well-known community youth organization for the humanitarian services I have exhibited. As an art graduate, I am very much into various genres of it whether on canvas, a computer, musical instrument, or physical acts on stage. I am a single mother of one beautiful, talented and well-raised 8-year-old daughter. We are highly into arts, sports, and literature. I do not have pets, I do not smoke, nor do I drink. While I don't have a problem with pets, I may ask that it is put up during my care depending on the stature and history of the pet; my safety value starts with your child(ren) and I don't want any sudden random acts from the pet that could harm that child(ren). I have recently retired from athletic directing and coaching from and elementary/middle school. I was requested to work for a great high school in the State of Michigan but I believe I will stick to being retired from that area of my life. Everything that I mention can be noticed right within my daughter who does ballet, basketball, softball, art, youth construction, acting, working to master 2 musical instruments and singing, cheer leading, track, student council, the principal's list, fashion construction and cooking. So when it comes to my capabilities, as they say, the proof is in the pudding. Feel free to ask for photos, references, background checks, etc. SIDE NOTE: Don't judge me by my stereotype! It's been a bit frustrating though oddly understandable that you may be leery about hiring me because of how I look whether it be my race, my age, or my attractive level and you'd rather not have me around your husband/mate... whatever you could negatively think of is just not what I'm capable of. May I suggest that if you read my words and it sparks your interest, then meet me and get to know me. Otherwise, you'd be passing up on an opportunity.
