About who needs care: He is hard of hearing and has very little eyesight but is still able to do his own daily tasks except cooking, driving and household tasks About the care needs: He requires blood pressure checks every other day, He would need split shifts everyday and over nights daily. We are looking for 3 women who would be willing to split these shifts. Specific times given during hiring process. We need someone who cooks!! Loves crime TV. About the care needs: Excellent communication skills & patience - prior stroke experience helpful but not necessary. Good sense of humor. About who needs care: My mother is a healthy 80 years old. No significant underlying health issues. She lives with my husband and I. She loves to shop but doesn't like to drive. She loves to knit, do puzzles and cook/bake. About the care needs: A good sense of humor. Services needed include: companionship.

My dad is my mom's primary caregiver, as she has memory issues and type 2 diabetes. Over the last couple of years she has stopped (lost interest?) in cleaning, cooking and housekeeping. My father has essential tremors and these tasks are very tiring for him. They do not need help with personal care such as being dressed or using the bathroom. They do need help with transportation to appointments and other errands. My brother and I assist with shopping for groceries. They do need assistance with household chores such as laundry, dishes and setting / clearing the kitchen table. My dad also needs some respite from watching over my mom 24/7. I have some flexibility in the days and times. They have a car, that the caregiver can drive. They do not have any pets. I do not want a smoker.

About who needs care: He is living in Cherry Ridge, independent cottage. He's 98, normally fairly aware, having some cognitive decline, forgetful. Doesn't cook, has lost some weight. Family worried He's not taking meds correctly. About the care needs: Dad is a retired police officer, has lots of stories. Full of humor, loves joking around. Loves people. Has in past played euchre at cherry ridge but was closed during covid. Likes music, goes to concerts. Services needed include: meal preparation, errands / shopping, light housekeeping, feeding, and bathing / dressing.

We are two working parents and have two very young kids (2. 5 and 8 months). Our house is a mess after the kids go to daycare and we have to rush to work. We are looking for a reliable, honest person to help do dishes, laundry, and straighten up the house. Note that the kids won't be home at the time and you won't be asked to watch the kids at the same time. If you are willing to cook - that would be amazing :)! They used to ski, camp, travel the country in their RV. Dads hobby was wood turning bowls. About who needs care: Patti, my mother, was hospitalized on January 26th 2021 and is currently still in the hospital, awaiting discharge home and figuring out care under the Immediate Care process through the county. She has Medicaid, so we would be looking for someone able to be paid through a program. She has been paralyzed from the chest down due to a serious viral infection. The limited strength in her upper body and neuropathic pain limits her strength and ability to perform tasks that require things like bending, balance, and transferring from place to place. My mother currently requires assistance for almost all aspects of mobility and daily life activities. She does have an ostomy pouch and feeding tube, however is hopeful to begin eating solid foods again once she is not served hospital food every day and can enjoy some real cooking again after 7 months of hospital food. My mother is THE sweetest human in the world and I am hoping to find some compassionate caretakers to help me make sure she lives a high quality of life after being dealt a really rough hand these past few years. I recently moved back to NY with my husband and plan to partake in the care taking, however can not do it on my own. I'm happy to answer any questions you have about my incredibly strong and kind mother! About the care needs: My mom really just wants someone who is easy to talk to, caring, gentle, and makes her feel like she's not a burden to anyone. She will need assistance with most daily tasks and someone to help her get up and ready for the day and ready for bed at night. She has an ostomy pouch, feeding tube, and suprapubic catheter. I will be able to provide the care for most aspects of these things, but someone willing to empty her waste would be helpful.
