Hi there! My name is Serena and I am 20 years old. *I am fully vaccinated for Covid-19* I recently finished my Bachelor's degree in neuroscience & cognitive psychology and am looking for some part-time work while I prepare for graduate school. Most of my experience came from working as a nanny for a young girl from the time she was 8 until she was 12. I supervised her completing her summer homework assignments, brought activities for her to do, drove her back and forth to summer camp, prepared meals, and completed basic housekeeping duties. I also worked as a summer camp counselor for several years. I love animals and have experience with large dogs, reptiles, horses, and more. I have just started my account on this platform, but will gladly provide references from my previous experience. My schedule is extremely flexible. I hope to speak with you soon!

Looking for a sitter? THIS IS YOUR GIRL. Our family stayed in the area for 2 months and hired Serena to watch our 2 children a few times a week. Our entire family loved Serena immediately and will miss her so much. If you are lucky enough to hire Serena you can expect her to be on time, dependable, trustworthy, friendly & respectful. She has great communication, was very flexible and she goes the extra mile. Absolutely wonderful with children. We just wish we could bring her back to NY with us!

Former Elementary School Teacher

(1)
I am a former elementary school teacher, with six and a half years of verifiable teaching experience. I have taught classes of up to 28 children in grades 3, 4, and 5. Prior to teaching, I worked in an after school program, caring for, tutoring and supervising children in grades K-2. During this time, I worked at a summer camp when school was not in session. I assisted the director in planning activities and field trips for grades K-6. I also worked at for a large group of pediatricians. I have a love and passion for children of all ages, and would care for your children as if they were my own.

Oh, wow. What a treasure! Danielle is, hands-down, the best thing to ever happen to my little girl. She is patient, sweet, smart, encouraging, inspiring -- and a great cook! Anything I ever needed she was happy to do to help our family. And I can't say enough for the change I've seen in my little one! I no longer fight her on a daily basis to do her homework/get fresh air/play outside. My daughter is now asking ME to go on runs with her when I get home from work. Her weekly homework is done -- happily! -- on Mondays, she offers to help cook dinner, she is reading books instead of playing on her phone at night... I can't say enough good things about how Danielle has brought on so many positive changes in my daughter, who has fallen in love with her new Tai Kwon Do class and her confidence is through the roof! Danielle is the best. No contest :)
