Hi there, My name is Kara. I have worked as a sole charge contracted nanny for 10+ years with twins, A. D. H. D, shared custody circumstances, S. P. D and 5+ children families. I have experience with newborns-15 years of age and am a healthy non-smoker that loves pets, crafting and the outdoors as well. I like to think of myself as a balanced nanny that knows how to be silly and when discipline is necessary, too. I am looking to care for a loving family that need part-time help, are great communicators, and wanting someone to join their family long term. My rates are negotiable but reflect my experience. I am considering positions with a part time schedule of M/W/F. Additional info: I have a squeaky clean background check and I am CPR/first aid certified. References will be provided upon request and not posted directly to respect the privacy of my past employers. Looking forward to meeting you :)

Kara has been incredible for my children and for our family. She is a wonderful balance of professionalism with my husband and me, but embraces the fun and silly side of her role with our daughters as well. Kara has been with us in the trenches of the tough parenting times (hello, tantrums and pee accidents!) and doesn't skip a beat. She takes discipline as seriously as we do and is respectful of our routines and any goals we are working to meet as a family. My children are 2 and 4 and she is wonderful with them. She nurtures an environment of independence, but is quick to help. Kara has helped us through potty training, fear of water, picky eating and so much more, all with an incredible amount of patience and grace. She is constantly aware of, and utilizes, any and all safety measures no matter what the activity. Basically, you better scoop her up while you can, because caregivers like her do not come around often.
