Loving Nanny/Babysitter

Responds within 5 hours
Nurturing, creative, and responsible nanny with many years of caregiving experience. Successfully maintained a safe environment for children while providing fun, imaginative, yet educational activities for children of all ages from newborns to younger school-aged children. My childcare experience goes beyond the amount of time that I have worked as a nanny professionally. I am a mother of 2 young women age 21 and 18 years old. I have babysat and took care of nephews and nieces many times in the years past. Medically, I've worked as a medical assistant for a pediatrician and was a patient care technician at an urgent care facility as well. Families have always been able to rely on me and trusted me. Rest assured that your child or children are in great hands. Currently, I'm in NYC and will be moving to St. Augustine by the end of December. I am available for full time work and/or occasional date nights. So reach out if you need me :)

Corina was the nanny for my baby between his ages of 4 months and 19 months until we left the city this March. I always felt comfortable and confident knowing he was in her care- she is exceptionally responsible, fastidious, and loving, and my son L. developed a wonderful bond with her. She helped him build good eating habits and took him to enriching places, making relationships with other nannies and constantly organizing times for him to play with the babies in their care. She is a great nanny and we really felt that we could count on her, which is so important, as we are two busy working parents and having someone detail oriented to stay on top of things was fantastic.

Our developmentally appropriate program provides a balance between preparing for the future and living fully in the present. Our approach to learning allows children to learn through multi-sensory, child-centered, organized experiences and discovery. We provide an environment that is overflowing in exciting opportunities to meet different learning styles and personalities.
At Island Prep we strive to create a positive environment that fosters learning through hands-on experiences, active play and enrichment. We believe that in order for students to be successful and happy in school they must be treated as individuals who learn differently based upon developmental readiness, learning styles, and interests. We want every student to feel safe, cared about, and excited when they come to school each day!

This is our home, this is our family. Island Prep is an extension of the families that are in our community, sharing the same values that we each have for our children including: community, kindness, acceptance, nurturing. We teach the children not only reading, writing and all the core educational subjects but we also instill a readiness to help others which often fosters a sense of community.

This school is a coming together of like minded neighbors and creating something wonderful for our children that will allow them to grow and become contributing members of our community.
Our mission moving forward is to become a more integral part of the community and become a staple of St Augustine. A permanent fixture of education in the town we love.
