It is important to trust the people who are responsible for the care and education of your children. Each staff member is a loving and nurturing individual with exceptional credentials. Teachers and assistants must follow strict guidelines, meet all state certification requirements and are encouraged to participate in sponsored continuing education programs. Mandatory First Aid training and CPR courses are provided annually. Consistent evaluations by superiors and parents help maintain the center's high standard of excellence for its personnel.

As parents ourselves, we often ran into the dilemma of finding a reliable, trustworthy babysitter. Without relatives close by, we quickly learned that babysitters are expensive with rates between $10-$15/hour! On top of that, we would worry about what was going on in our home and liability issues. Now your children, ages 5-12, can be in an active, entertaining, and social environment under the care of trusted certified professionals! Staff is made up of local certified teachers and child care providers.

Programs Offered

We offer programs for children ages six weeks through twelve years of age. There is a program available for your child and we welcome you to come in and tour our beautiful facility.

Programs for Infants...

A caring and soothing environment provides the setting for interactive one on one activities centered around the child and his/her immediate surroundings. Especially designed for infants, the program fosters all development aspects of growing and learning based on each child's unique needs.

Programs for Toddlers...

One on one and small group activities cater to the needs of children exploring their environment and just learning to socialize. Lessons and skill development opportunities explore topics about self, family, friends and community. The development of bathroom skills is addressed in a caring setting working closely with parents to secure each child's success.

Programs for Pre-Schoolers...

A variety of small group and individual exploration activities provide throughout the day the ideal setting to develop readiness skills for school. Starting at age 2, children participate in the nationally acclaimed learning program, which provides phonics, math and social skills development, as well as vocabulary and values in an age appropriate manner.

We are also an APPROVED VPK Provider.

Programs for Schoolers...

6:30 AM to 7:30 AM and 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM

Our buses pick up and drop off at Local Elementary Schools.

At J University (also known as "JU"), we know how to nurture, encourage and stimulate your child's interests in our caring, supportive environment, while giving you full control of their after-school schedule. The J University counselors will ride on a bus or van to pick your child up from their elementary school and transport them to the JCC for an afternoon of fun, enriching activities. Children in the J University program experience being part of a group and a community, learn to interact with their peers, and become more independent.

Kids especially love coming to JU to see their friends and our fantastic staff. We provide a "home-away-from-home" atmosphere. Upon arriving at the JCC, your child will first receive a nutritious snack. After they have eaten and had the chance to unwind from the school day, children go to our Homework Center to work with their counselors on school work in a quiet environment. Our staff actively assist the children with their assignments, guiding them through their lessons and assisting when they need help. After your child is finished with any homework, they will join their group for our scheduled activities, which can include science, cooking, arts and crafts, team building, recreational outdoor time, gym games, and free play.

Having your child in JU also gives you the unique opportunity to enroll your child in our eclectic variety of enrichment programs, including: basketball, soccer, tennis, pottery, drawing, theater, gymnastics, private lessons, dance, tutoring, engineering, science, golf and much more! We'll take your child to and from each enrichment class, saving you the hassle of coordinating transportation. With so many options under one roof, creating a robust and fulfilling activity schedule for your child has never been so easy!

Montessori World School serves children 20 months old through grade 8.
