I received my Home Health Aide certificate and shortly after that, I was asked to take care of my 98-year-old mother-in-law in my home. She had advanced Alzheimer's, coupled with Sun downer's Syndrome. I was her 24/7 caregiver who encompassed every possible need a person could have. After 12 months, she passed away with her family at her side. Prior to this, I had taken care of my fiancé for 3 years, who was a disabled veteran who ultimately died of lung cancer. I am a compassionate person with a heart for the sick and elderly who sometimes just need some help to remain in their own homes. I was hired directly off this site for 6+ jobs. Most recently was a patient with COPD and another one with Alzheimer. Both have passed away. I was CPR certified in 2018; What more would you like to know? Let's chat. Faith has been an absolute God send for us! She goes over and beyond every visit- and is an absolute delight! She is patient with my grandmother, but also handles my grandmothers stubborn streak to ensure things get done. She takes time every day to visit with her when she arrives and throughout her day -and it's clear my grandmother adores Faith despite her lack of ability to communicate clearly with us due to dementia. Faith really understands what dementia patients need, and I would personally recommend her to anyone.
