Caregiver/CNA/HHA For 24-Year-Old Special Needs Young Man
Looking for committed part-time caregiver for our non verbal son, he uses awheelchair and is a fun loving young man. The right person will enjoy music, community outings, taking our son swimming, to the movies, and enjoying life. We always have two people with our son. He assists with transfers in/out of the wheelchair, onto his stander, lounge chair, swing, pool, etc. Must be strong, energetic, able to work as a team player. Prefer a CNA/HHA willing to be trained by our son's long time caregiver. Responsibilities include assisting with ADLs, outings to activities, and most important, making a connection with our son - understand, interpret and anticipate his needs.
