Wonderland Farm is located just 11 minutes west of Wilmington, off Hwy 74/76, nestled away on a 106 acre horse farm full of fun and learning activities for kids! Daily lessons on horseback in English Hunt Seat. Learn how to handle and care for your mount, Small class size, quality individual and group instruction. Owner and camp director Karen Mealey has a BA in Equine Studies and Certification in Art Education. Instructor student ratio is 1:3 for maximum fun and safety on our well trained camp horses. All levels welcome from 1st time beginners thru advanced. Afternoons are full with art lessons, trail riding, swimming, and bareback riding. This is our 18th year of Horseback riding camp, we have an impeccable safety record, and our camp has become a favorite among many students with many returning year after year. Love horses? Come ride until your legs bow!
Camps run weekly 9 am-3 pm, Monday thru Friday.Optional transportation is available from Independence Mall with our 15 passenger van. pickup is 8:30 and drop off is 3:30 pm.
Riding lessons, trail rides, and birthday parties at the farm are available year round.
