As an accredited preschool teacher, I believe that the education process begins in the home. It is my job to support this process by helping each individual child grow and discover the world around them and their place in the world. We are partners during this education process which includes communicating and involving the parents as much as possible.

I have 4 children of my own, ages 26 years old, 23 years old, 21 years old and a 9 year old. I have a Bachelor's degree in Child Development and have been providing childcare as a licensed provider as well as teaching preschool for children, ages 6 weeks old to 12 years old, for 10 years.

Currently, I am licensed for 14 children. I have 2 helpers daily. I use "Mother Goose Time" curriculum that reinforces skills from social-emotional and cognitive areas of development along with daily circle time where we sing songs, read books, learn the alphabet, phonics, numbers, days of the week, months of the year and really have a good time learning it. Included are arts and crafts and activities that promote learning. I also provide 2 nutritious meals and a snack each day following a guide given by a food program through the state of California.

All the children are loved and cared for and nurtured as my own children. I have well prepared them for Kindergarten using a preschool homeschooling program and have followed them and participated in their lives even after they leave my care.
