Valley Fellowship Christian Academy has been a blessing to my family. My children started at VFCA when my son was entering the fourth grade and my daughter entering the first grade. The school curriculum consisted of sound academics and Christian principles.
The sound academics have open up many opportunities for my son. He graduated from VFCA as class valedictorian . He is now an engineer major at Vanderbilt University. Even at a secular university, the Christian principles have enabled him to see God working in his life. We are blessed beyond measures that he can attend Vanderbilt University cheaper than what we were paying to send him to VFCA.
My daughter just graduated from VFCA this year as class valedictorian and will be attending Vanderbilt University in the Fall majoring in Medicine, Health and Society. God has shown our family favor because she will be attending Vanderbilt University cheaper than what we were paying for her to go to VFCA.
My son attended VFCA for nine years and my daughter attended VFCA for twelve years. Over the years, I did not agree with all the rules and regulations set forth by the administration; however, the administration did let me voice my opinions.
I hope other families would consider VFCA for their children's education. These families may find that VFCA values may align with their own values. Please go take a tour of the facilities and talk with the administration.

Little Valley Academy is a wonderful day care. As a parent, I know that my children are safe and loved by their teachers. My children are receiving an excellent academic and Biblical foundation. Upon the completion of K4, my oldest child was reading at a first grade level and has continued to excel in elementary school at Valley Fellowship Christian Academy. While academics are important, I am so pleased that my children are taught Biblical truths. It is a joy to see them growing in their relationship with the Lord. I highly recommend Little Valley Academy and Valley Fellowship Christian Academy.

I attended Valley for a number of years. The curriculum is good, although there is no advanced classes until 11 and 12 grade. That aspect of the school is good. The bad aspect of the school is the administration. They have zero trust in their students, even though all the ones who gave them a problem have been removed. They do not listen to constructive criticism, and will not listen to the suggestions you give about how they can better the school, or raise more money. They have a severe bullying problem, especially in the younger grades. Someone who went to the school was bullied from 6th grade to 9th grade, when she left. The school was made known about the issue about once or twice a week and nothing was ever done to prevent it from happening again. The one time they did something about it, the young lady who was being bullied also got in trouble for telling her friends what the young fellow said to her. THAT IS CRAZY! You are going to punish a young lady who has been bullied since she started the school, and because she was upset and told her friends what he said to her she got in trouble too?!?! They like to favor the students whose parents are heavily involved in the school, like, these boys who were bullying her, parents were. They also act like perfect Christians. Christians aren't meant to be perfect, but they don't seem to realize that. One chapel the students were told that God would never use them simply because a few students were slouching in their seats. If that's not crazy then I don't know what is. Overall, if you are interested in enrolling your child into this school, really talk to people who attend the school so they can tell you how it is. The kids are miserable and want to leave, but can't because of the schools they are zoned for. A lot of the students there have become annoyed with Christianity because they force it so much so, and make you think you have to be perfect. Love the teachers, love the curriculum, but sometimes other things weigh out my final opinion.

Second year going here and our little one loves going! She is so excited to go, loves teachers, classmates and activities. We were worried about moving up to a new teacher since she had terrible times with this at our previous daycare. Not the case here! Furthermore, we have seen huge improvement in her learning and writing (age 3). It is closed doors but we have had no problems accessing our kids, meeting with teachers, or getting quick answers to any concerns. Highly recommend.

Little Valley Academy is a fantastic day care that feeds in to the excellent Valley Fellowship Christian Academy. They have an environment where kids are loved and cared for, and they are really learning while they are there. My oldest child is in VFCA now, but by the end of K-4 she was able to read and write and even sign her name in cursive. She was also learning the Word of God from wonderful godly teachers and administrators the entire time. I can't recommend LVA highly enough!

Stay far away from this Daycare. There is favoritism at this school and no comparison. It's a closed campus. Therefore, you have no idea what is going on behind closed doors. Pseudo Christians. If you care and love your babies run far away from this daycare.
