Trusthaven Homecare was founded by a Registered nurse named Lisa Woodrow. Lisa founded this company based on the principal that providing a loving care for your loved one is one the fundamental principal of life. At the height of her nursing career, Lisa quit her job and traveled back to Pittsburgh, PA to care for her ailing father who was in his late stage of Alzheimer's. Lisa believed that family comes first and putting him in a nursing home or independent living facility was not an option. The joy of caring forher father at home in an environment he is familiar with brought a smile to his face. After his passing, Ms Woodrow out of inspiration of seeing her father happy with the care she provided at home, decided to open her own Homecare agency to assist loved ones to remain independent at home.
