The Learning Forest Academy

We are The Learning Forest Academy (Childcare Home) in Concord, CA. Our childcare home offers a loving learning environment for children ages 12 months through 6 years.  We provide all home-cooked, healthy, organic, kosher meals. We pride ourselves inbeing culturally responsive and as a nature based, Montessori inspired community. We also have outdoor classroom spaces, small group and one-on-one curriculum, a garden class with a green house and chicken coop (our hens gives us about a dozen eggs a day), tricycle, balance bikes and scooter time as well as nature walks. We are a diverse community with many families in our neighborhood as well as neighboring cities. We offer a safe environment with a beautiful nature infused playground experience for our learners. As a former classroom teacher I set the bar high when it comes to my students educational goals. I believe in organic exploration and giving creative outlets to optimize their development. Our programs goal is to help children learn important academic, social, emotional, and behavioral skills that prepare them for a successful and happy future.
