Our facility is a Family Home Childcare for children up to 5 years old. We have been in service for 23 years at the same location near NIH and Walter Reed Hospital (between Old Georgetown Rd & Rockville Pike). Our facility is on the yard level with plentyof sunlight and has a spacious playground in the fenced backyard. I am Licensed for up to eight children by the State of Maryland Childcare Administration. I have one full-time certified assistant and two certified part-time assistants that work with me. I was an honor graduate in Early Childhood Education from the University of Maryland, College Park, and was the lead teacher for four years at Easter Seals Childcare Center at the National Archives (NARA), in College Park, Maryland. My program is a comprehensive approach that addresses the developmental needs of children through their early growing years. I conduct daily circle time, work with children on language and number skills, and we do lots of daily arts and crafts. My program, also, includes plenty of creative and interactive playtime activities for children. Details are provided upon visit. I have numerous letters of recommendation from parents.
