Spiritas Caring Companions provides in home companionship and home helper services based on medical necessity to individuals with disabilities and senior adults, bringing a legacy of compassionate care to every home we visit. Our office is available 24 hours a day/7 days a week. It is a continued tradition of support that began 30 years ago with their founding company, St. James Place, one of the Gulf South's premier non profit continuing care retirement communities. Caring Companions are available to assistvulnerable adults and seniors with a variety of everyday needs, enabling them to live their lives with the greatest degree of independence possible. Most importantly for our clients, we are able to provide services in the home privately, or in the privacy of the clients facility room or assisted living facility. We offer competitive rates for services without compromising the professionalism of care delivered. Services Include: ADL's and IADL'S, companionship and conversation, respite care, diet monitoring, medication reminders, bill and letter mailing, scheduling and calendar maintenance, mental stimulation, home maintenance assistance, grocery list prep and menu planning, social visit and excursion planning, light housekeeping, laundry and ironing assistance, morning wake up and evening tuck in, Alzheimer's/Dementia care, pet and houseplant care, transportation, ambulation/walking assistance, range of motion exercises, etc. We are a non profit faith based entity.
