I use to work here. You are paying for the area not care level provided. I quit I was not fired, so please don't think I am bitter. I have worked 3rd and 1st shift here, Residents are suppose to be changed through the night and they are not, on the Robin rd Hallway there is 4 or 5 bathrooms with showers, only 1 shower actually works so all 20 residents on that one hall is using one bathroom, they are so short handed that they see so many things going on even on camera and over look them because so many people call out all the time. We use to sleep over night while the residents where in there rooms and it wasn't a problem. All the residents cloths on one hall way (about 20 or so residents) cloths are washed together which is the must unsanitary thing ever and once the residents name have washed out of the cloths we don't know who they belong to, so usually other residents are wearing other people cloths and even underwear for the one that do still wear those and not depends. Once I was giving a resident a shower and while he was in the shower he started to pee blood, so I ran to the nurse so she could come see and she literally told me that "that's normal" I'm sorry when has it ever been normal to urinate blood? I understand that parents have to go to assisted living sometimes, but we all know that when you work somewhere you find out how a place is really ran. The owner Richard is a really good guy with a decent heart ,but he only owns the place and it is ran horrible. Please just reconsider before placing your loved ones at this assisted living.
