After years and years of experience as a nanny, Au pair, camp counselor and preschool teacher, we're finally ready for the next step.

We've begun to build the foundation of an environmental education center and our family home daycare will fit right in.

My husband, who has a degree in Psychology from UNCG and currently works in a group home for adult men with developmental disabilities, will be joining me in my work and we hope to find some great families with or without special needs who will benefit from our work as much as we will benefit from their involvement.

We have a budding young garden to tend. We also Plan vermiculite, native species habitats and indoor and outdoor art with varied mediums. This fall we're inviting some hens to join us in our backyard and in our curriculum.

We have access and will offer field trips at no additional cost to lake Jordan to visit a school site where we'll set up long-term environmental science projects.

We're in the beginning stages, working toward becoming a licensed family home daycare and so our spaces will be very limited until then.

We're thrilled to meet the families who will chose this type of care for their children. We are so looking forward to working with you!
