About
Hello, I am Ms. Rachel. I am currently working on my Early Childhood Education for licensure degree, and I only have one more year left.
Over this summer, I would like to open my home to a few children (no more than four at a time). I know how hard it can be to find affordable care, and I would like to work with a family or two that really needs help. I can start the week of May 15th and run until Aug 15th.
I have experience as a preschool teacher for 1.5 years, a nanny, a paraeducator, and a mom of two school-aged children. My children will be spending a lot of their summer weeks at various camps they wanted to try out, so it will be mostly just your children and me.
I have training in special education, curriculum development, CPR and first aid, and social/emotional learning. I follow all of the latest guidance from the Colorado Early Learning and Development Guidelines and the NAEYC.
