Ms. Kelsey's Neighborschool

I work with kids in a very child-focused way. I provide some structure, and I balance that with allowing children to guide their learning through their interests. We have a topic of the week and engage with that topic through many of our activities, whichcan include sensory bins, projects, art activities, baking, and outdoor observation. We do lots of hands-on, fun activities that emphasize independence and encourage each child's natural desire to learn. My vision for the program is to guide children into becoming compassionate, independent, confident, intrinsically motivated humans. All children are different, but all children love to play!
