About Minding Motion For Graceful Aging

Minding Motion for Graceful Aging is a leader in the development of individualized artistically driven movement programs to keep our aging population physically, cognitively, and emotionally healthy. Developed from inception with the specific aim of serving aging populations to help them thrive. We believe in instilling sociability, empowerment and self-esteem through dance, music and creative physical and mental activities. In doing so, we alter how the participants view themselves, their condition andenvironment. We believe in guiding participants to achieve their maximum human potential. In doing so, we help alleviate the symptoms of medical conditions by increasing cognitive function, range of motion, balance, and strength to liberate participants. We believe in helping participants (re)gain their sense of independence and self-worth. In doing so, we help make aging graceful. Our classes incorporate memorization, strength, flexibility, balance, coordination and fall prevention exercises by experienced and professional dance educators, researchers and artists. The classes are wrapped in a 45-50 minutes musical one-on-one or community-building environment to guarantee the success for participants. We serve at home care, independent living, assisted living and memory care facilities across the Wasatch front.Read more
