My name is Melissa and I live in Centerville with my family. We have lived here for 11 years. After recently moving from an apartment to a home, I started caring for children in my home. Previously, I provided care for children in their homes, and before having children, I worked as a preschool teacher. I have always loved working with children, and I enjoy taking part in their learning and growing.

My home is a comfortable, child friendly environment where your children will be loved and nurtured. I have a smoke free and pet free home with lots of room to play and do arts & crafts. I also have a fenced in backyard.

I have worked with children in preschools and daycares for 7 years. With the help of an aide, I cared for up to 24 children. I was a nanny for 4 years after I had my first child. I have been caring for children for over 15 years and I plan on continuing to work with children for a very long time! Most recently, I have been a nanny for a family with 2 children. I was also a nanny for a family with 4 children on a semi-regular basis.

I have a 10 year old, 6 year old, and 2.5 year old. All girls! The youngest is with me at home every day while my older two will be at school during the day. My daughters are very easy-going, caring, and love to share with everyone!

I received my bachelor's degree in University Studies with an emphasis in Work and Family Education. From my child care experience and education, I have collected lots of arts & crafts ideas, and love to let the children I work with do crafts and other activities. I love to sing and know lots of children's songs. I also know some basic sign language and want to learn more.
