I start from very young to help prepare your child for preschool. I teach manners, colors, numbers, ABC's and some sign language. I also help with potty training your child. I supply all meals and snacks.
About the business
I have been a family child care provider for over 34 years professionally and have taken care of children for over 40 years. I offer a lot of love and nurturing to children from age 6 weeks until 2 to 3 years old. I help prepare toddlers for preschool and help get them potty trained. We have reading time, free play time, learning time, arts and crafts, outside time (weather permitting) and have birthday parties for each child. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I supply breakfast, lunch and two healthy snacks. I have separate places for each child to take a nap. I am a mother of three grown children and have two grandchildren. I have loved my job of child care since day one and still love it. I have had a helper for over 10 years now.

There aren't enough stars for Lisa. You will not find a more loving, conscientious, consistent care provider for your little ones. She gives babies and toddlers exactly what they most need: love and structure. She has a memory like a steel trap, and knows each of her charge's loveys, nap times, ever-changing list of little rashes and boo-boos, upcoming doctor's appointments, and favorite snacks. My children would not have had any kind of coherent schedule as babies if it weren't for Lisa. She is a lifesaver. And the cherry on top, my kids adore her. Do yourself a favor and stop looking for a childcare provider - you've found her.

Where to begin? I am beyond thankful Natalia got the pleasure to be loved on a daily basis by Ms. Lisa! She loved my girl as if she were her own. Natalia absolutely loved her Lisa and Poppy (Lisa's husband). She was very excited EVERY morning to be dropped off and most importantly she was comfortable and happy there. Leaving Lisa's broke our hearts and I still to this day wish we could go back. We love our Lisa and miss her very much!

Our son was lucky to be with Ms. Lisa for a little over 3 years, and we are so thankful for his (and ours!) time with her. We left recently to start preschool. The care, compassion and love she is able to give every child is outstanding. From the birthday parties she throws to celebrate every child, to the family Christmas parties, crafts, activities and every day helping to grow our sons social and sensory skills was exactly what he needed to prepare for preschool. Our family grew when we met Lisa, and we couldn't be happier with the love and care Lisa provides. We miss her dearly but facetime is helping!

My family and I are so grateful we found Lisa! She cared for our older daughter for 3 years and our second daughter for 9 months. The only reason we left was due to buying a home that just made the drive too much for us. While my girls were there they received the same love, care and attention as if they were with family. And that is what Lisa has become to us, part of the family:) The mixed age groups all playing and interacting was just what we were looking for and Maddie, our 3 year old, thrived in that environment and prepared her for her little sister's arrival as well. I highly recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a warm, loving, and nurturing place for their little one!

We love Ms. Lisa! Our son was with Lisa from 8 weeks to 28 months. We felt so comfortable with her. She is so good with the kids and loves them like her own. He learned a lot there and really loved her. Your child would be in great hands with Lisa and you will have a peace of mind that he's safe and loved.

I was so blessed to find Ms. Lisa to care for my daughter. I was very hesitant about putting my daughter in childcare and once we met, I knew it was the right choice! My child came home every day happy, loving, smarter and couldn't wait to go back the next day! I love that she gives you "report cards" of their meals, snacks, potty/diapers and naps. It helps with not only knowing where your child is at for the day, but also as a first time mom it was amazing to see what worked for my kiddo. She becomes a part of your family, and there is no way I could of done motherhood without her.

I am a first-time mother, and so I knew that leaving my baby with someone was going to be extra difficult as I returned to work last Fall. Lisa was recommended to me by a co-worker, and Lisa cared for this co-worker's 3 sons throughout their early years. I knew that if she was recommended so highly by someone I know and trust, she must be a treasure. And, a treasure she is!! My 10-month old has been with Lisa 4 days a week since she was 3 months old, and she LOVES her!! She is drawn to Lisa like a magnet, and I never doubt that she is in the most wonderful hands while I am at work. Lisa is a warm and nurturing person, and she also helps the children learn rules and boundaries; this is something I truly respect. Her love for my daughter shows through my daughter's smile when I leave her in the morning and pick her up in the evening. My husband and I feel so blessed to have Lisa in our lives!

Lisa took care of my three kids from 12 months to 2 or 3 years old. She loved my children like her own and my kids now 9, 7, and 4 still remember her warmth and kindness.

Both my children (aged 2.5 and 9 months) are currently in Lisa's care and both began at 12 weeks of age. Lisa is extremely loving and nurturing and treats the children like they are her own. She helped to establish a routine for our oldest when she was an infant and her structure works well for our children. She has a nice set-up in her home with many toys and games for the kids, and often purchases new baby and toddler items for them. She was very helpful in reinforcing potty training for our toddler and has been flexible with our wishes to use cloth diapers with both as babies. Her prices are very fair, as she provides breakfast and lunch plus two snacks. She does thoughtful birthday parties for each child and a nice holiday gathering for all the families in December. She offers a safe, fun environment and loves our children as we'd like them to be loved!

Lisa has provided childcare for both of our daughters from when they were 3 months old to 2.5 and ready to enter preschool. She is extremely caring and loves the children she works with as if they were her own. Lisa is also very structured and provides a consistent routine so children know what to expect. This was especially helpful with our first daughter when we as new parents did not know how to get our child on a schedule! She is knowledgeable about developmental milestones and transitions (such as moving from bottle to solid food or potty training). Lisa provides a safe and nurturing environment that I would recommend to anyone in search of quality in-home childcare.
