At LePort, we help our students acquire the essential knowledge, thinking skills, and strength of character required to flourish as joyous children today, and as successful adults tomorrow. Our unique program emphasizes the relationship between the academically challenging material presented in the classroom, and the breadth of experiences children have in their lives outside of the classroom.

At LePort School Westpark, we offer more than a high-quality, authentic, Montessori program, we also offer convenient extended care hours (great for working parents!), enriching after-school programs, and even a daily hot lunch option.

Our beautiful classrooms boast high-quality furniture and Montessori materials, are full of natural light, and some even offer direct access to the outdoors, giving children the opportunity to enjoy both indoor and outdoor classroom space. Our teachers take great pride in making each room a unique, welcoming environment.

As our authentic Montessori school has been open for over five years, children benefit from stable, mixed-age classroom communities. In addition, as more than half of our preschool students stay with us for the Kindergarten year, our Primary classrooms have outstanding role models for younger students, and a great peer group for older ones.

All of our head teachers have completed the most rigorous, year-long AMI Montessori certification. We are proud that all of our head teachers and nearly all of our assistants have stayed with us year-over-year: quite an achievement in a preschool setting where staff turnover can be very high.
