The backyard has toddler and preschool friendly play sets (slides, swings, monkey bars). When the Munchkins enter our facility, they are perfectly safe within the "friendly confines" of our privacy fence (completely fenced-in front to back).
My facility offers a loving and safe learning environment. The days are structured, but not rigid. Activities for the children vary according to age and include circle time (sing-a-long and discussion), dramatic play, fine/gross motor activities. We pride ourselves with active and quiet activities mingled with social skills with group activities. All equipment is age-appropriate for the development of the children. I generally wear child-friendly shirts imprinted with many cartoon characters (Mickey Mouse, Winnie the Pooh, Tigger, etc.) for the children's fun and amusement. Board games, educational toys, arts and crafts, and reading materials are provided to foster additional development.
Kidz Day Care is a participant of a federal funded food program that ensures nutritious meals and snacks. Rest assured that the children are fed on demand and this is a fast rule here, regardless of normal meal times.
The day care fees are affordable and can be negotiated upon situation. YWCA/DHS (state subsidy), and DCFS payments are gladly accepted.
I am state licensed and CPR certified.
At Kidz Day Care, we strive for a rainbow (gender neutral, multicultural, anti-biased) environment. Infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school aged children are welcome (4 wks-12 yrs). A loving, caring atmosphere is provided daily.
We speak Spanish.
We now have a very informative and upscale website. All are welcome to review and comment. We are always glad to welcome new friends.
Again, and I cannot emphasize enough, we offer PEACE OF MIND to working parents...I am always available if there are concerns, or if my parents need to vent. We are always a phone call or text away.

Extensive training with special needs children (ADHD, ADA, allergies, asthma, infants exhibiting reflux, Down Syndrome etc.) CDA (Child Development Associate). All the above mingled with 29+ years of licensed day care demonstrates my experience in early child care. I spend extensive time with my young moms as they transition back to the workforce after being home for 8 weeks. I am ALWAYS available (and I cannot say that enough) for listening, texting (if talking on phone is not permissible), or phone calls. I AM THE BEST!

Avi aka THE PATCH has been with Susan for 2 years. Every morning she has a huge smile on her face and every evening gives hugs and kisses. Mrs. Susan is more then a daycare provider. Loves and cares for each and every child. Hands down she is the Best Provider in Lake County.
