Hello Irvine Families. My name is Monica Huston and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist providing brief child care in the format of 1-hour individual counseling sessions. I was a nanny for 7 years and a day-care center employee for 2 years. Two master degrees later and within both child-care and therapy settings, I have gained experience working with early, middle and late-aged school kids and adolescents. Anxiety, depression, anger-management and self-esteem are among some of the many issues I work with. Helping kids to live mentally healthy lives has been my ever-growing passion! I am one of 7 kids myself and my goal has been to help other kids benefit from good mental health within their family structure as I myself have benefited from good mental health within my own.
