I have been a home daycare owner for 3 years but have 17 years of babysitting experience. I used to be a Sales and Marketing Manager for the largest senior living company in the world, Brookdale Senior Living. When I had my 1st son, I was working 60-70 hours a week and that left me no time to watch him grow up so I resigned and took a leap of faith to start a business of my own, home daycare. I love it! It allows me the time to spend with my children, watch them grow up and be able to give loving, compassionate care to other children as well. I run my daycare out of my house and it has worked really well. I have 1 other employee besides myself to help me in the mornings. She will sit with the kids while I transport the school aged kids to Arcanum School. Franklin Monroe students are able to get on and off the bus at my house as it is a pick up/drop off location.
