Golden Heart & Home was formed as a Group Home for elderly to provide a family home setting for adults who are unable to live alone due to physical, emotional or developmental impairments. Golden Heath & Home provides 24-hour care to the residents and is conveniently located in Mishawaka, Indiana by Penn Harris High School. Residents receive meals, support, supervision, and assistance with personal care and living skills as needed. Golden Heart & Home meets the need of adults who require periodic or regularassistance with activities of daily living but do not require nursing services.Our resident to caregiver ratio is 5:2 to ensure quality of care. We are a faith based home, realizing that our hardworking residents have saved a lifetime for a place that will give them great, and quality care. The founder is a Physical Therapist with 22 years of experience ranging from hospital based skilled nursing rehab and assisted living facility outpatient to homecare therapy.
