Columbus Grove Daycare

Columbus Grove Daycare is a licensed large in-home family daycare in the heart of Irvine, CA that offers an inviting, nurturing, and warm space for children to grow and develop. Our priorities in preparation for Kindergarten are: academic enrichment,developing fine and gross motor skills through various activities, social and emotional development, and creativity through arts and crafts and music. The in-home daycare facility fosters a safe space through a designated classroom / learning area, custom beds and fitted sheets for nap time, and a spacious outdoor playtime area. Chi (Daycare Owner), who holds an International Montessori Teaching Diploma through the North American Montessori Center, has over 10 years of in-home family daycare experience beginning in 2012. She is licensed to care for 14 children (12 toddler / pre-school aged children + 2 school aged children) with a teaching assistant. All teacher's assistants at Columbus Grove Daycare are current students or recent graduates from UCI / nearby universities and have education and childcare experience or aspirations to become teacher's in the future. Most notably through the years from Columbus Grove Daycare graduates is Chi’s cooking. She provides freshly prepared meals daily and skillfully caters towards the taste buds of young ones. Most children who attend Columbus Grove Daycare come when they are young and stay until Kindergarten. We have the privilege of building trustworthy longitudinal relationships with the children we care for and they become just like family members.
