My family member lived at Colonial Villa for several years. The Dining Staff are the best!! They are compassionate & understand the elderly. The Chef is receptive to discussing dietary needs. The Maintenance Manager does a great job! Likewise, the current Laundry lady & the 2 Housekeeping ladies do a good job!
My issue is with the Villa's Care staff (i.e. Olivia Health). They over promise & under deliver. There is little consistency or attention to details. After a resident fell I was told by one CENA "the residents fall every day. It's no big deal". Not sure the resident would agree. The lock boxes for meds don't lock easily if at all. Would I recommend the Villa - yes!! - there are so many good things about it. Unfortunately for me the "Care" staff is not one of them.
