Choose Your Own Care, CYOC, helped my sisters and me give our mom the care she wanted in her home through the very end of her life. We live hours away in another state and it worked. After 2 years of attentive care, Mom passed in her favorite sunny family room and in her home of 64 years. She had just turned 98 years old.
I credit this agency's truely individualized approach. They listened to my mom (stubborn as she was) and embraced her goals. Amazingly, the CYOC directors did a face-to-face meeting with mom and us to discuss a care plan before beginning their services. Staff who attended to mom were respectful of her wish to be independent and gave her the space and scheduled hours of support when she needed it.
They cared for us, the family members, with the same respect and active communication despite the distance. When something was tough we worked together to find solutions. Routinely they went above and beyond our expectations. They helped immensely after mom passed as well. They even managed to find a loving forever home for my mom's persinicky senior cat.!
I recommend them whole heartedly.

CYOC has gone above and beyond for our beloved family member. They are a local small business with a very personal touch in all that they do. Our family member would not be alive today if not for their wonderful caregivers, staff, and owner.
