I received my Bachelor's of Elementary Education from Weber Sate University with a minor in Early Childhood Education! I recently renewed my teaching certificate. I have 27 year's licensed experience in home child care! I feel it is of utmost important for the childcare provider you choose for your children to have an education in the developmental stages of children and a knowledge of age appropriate activities to promote a healthy and safe learning environment. Having a licensed provider will provide you with the knowledge that the person caring for your child has had a criminal background clearing, a fire inspection, health inspection, is CPR and First Aid certified and has a food handlers permit! A licensed provider is required to have quarterly fire drills and also conduct a major disaster drill. Also required, is a state inspection by a trained professional to ensure the home is safe for your children! It is also required to have 20 hours of training a year. You have the comfort of knowing that guidelines are set and enforced to ensure the well being of your child! I participate in a federally funded food program. This program provides training and monitoring to ensure children are being fed healthy and balanced meals. All meals and snacks are included. Call to check for openings!
