At Assisting Hands Home Care, our mission is to offer the very finest personalized non-medical care to our clients and loved ones.
Assisting Hands provides help with the activities of daily living; bathing, grooming, personal hygiene, transfers and ambulation, medication reminders, accompany to doctors appointments, meal preparation, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, and laundry. All services are provided in the privacy, safety and comfort of your home.
We tailor our services to fit your needs!
Services are available on an hourly basis or complete 24 hour care, 7 days per week.
All of our caregivers are certified, trained, bonded, insured, supervised by a Registered Nurse and they also all undergo a through criminal background screening. They are our employees so we take care of liability insurance, social security, federal taxes, unemployment and workers compensation insurance.
We are more than happy to make an appointment at no charge to meet with you regarding the specifics of what you are looking for. We are available to arrange a visit at your convenience to go over the range of our services. We will come to you!

Reliable, compassionate service. I was happy with their services for my parents.

They worked with us to help us when an individual we hired did not show up as scheduled. The managers are very helpful, and most of the staff have been very reliable. If there were any issues, we reported it and they dealt with it right away. They email you a clear, accurate invoice weekly and are very reliable.

I am impressed with the flexibility and wide range of services and opportunities offered by Assisting Hands..
General companion care;medication reminders;mail sorting;light housekeeping are areas in which I could fit in, with or without live-in, either day or night, or on a part time basis.
My training is in English (with individual and local patois), and to a lesser extent, Spanish which I read better than vocalise.. I can therefore read to or with the patient, discuss literary works, attend stage presentations, eat-outs and supervised outings when advisable.
I have a licence but no longer drive. My HHA diploma is valid.
On my time, I attend a Senior Centre for exercise and liaison, and religious services when possible.
