About the business
My Philosophy:
Teaching young children or nurturing them in a calm and positive way is my main commitment in life. Young children are a clean slate, it's my responsibility to write and draw in their mind, to help nourish their imagination and growth. They will be able to see this world with colors and clarity. In my learning center, I maintain a positive and active environment. When mistakes are made, I teach and correct them with love and care. Their job is to make mistakes and my greater responsibility is to correct them. I believe kids cry for many reasons, my job is to calculate the reason calmly. If there is a behavior, every behavior tells something. Children at this age learn from imitation, before I see my students I take time to structure myself. My priority is to build your child's trust in me. I also send home a journal with each student that lists the child's activities and behaviors for the day to better monitor progress. Daily notes will come home as well.
About My Goal:
I am an MSDE certified in Pre-K / ESOL, Special Ed. and Elementary / Social Study public schools teacher. I have been teaching for the last 17 years. For the Last 10 years, I was able to pursue my passion- focusing on early childhood education by being a preschool teacher. I created a safe learning environment shaped around the child's needs. My goal is to support children's social-emotional, cognitive, and physical growth, as well as develop relationships with children and families in the early childhood classroom. This past year I was able to pursue another goal of mine: opening my own daycare and learning center.
