Acting Out!

Between our two Brooklyn-area locations and our newest space in Westfield, NJ, Acting Out! is happy to offer an extensive performing arts curriculum for students kindergarten to college.

Our courses include all levels of acting, musical theatre, improvisation, film/television, as well as private lessons for singing, piano, and audition preparation. The Acting Out! team of instructors is led by Roberta Loew, John Isgro and Keith Grumet, all three are highly-educated and experienced industry professionals with over 20 years in the acting industry. All of Acting Out!'s instructors are working actors and musicians, a unique training opportunity that offers your child the chance to learn directly from those in the know; those who have worked on Broadway, in regional theatres, television, radio, and/or film. They are members of the Actors Equity Association (AEA), the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), and AFRTA- many hold degrees in the performing arts as well.

Having both the practical know-how and an insightful, educational approach, our instructors bring their collective experience to the classroom. In turn, your child will benefit from our instructors' nurturing yet practical method, which includes placing your child in the classes that will ultimately take his and her performing arts skills to the next level.

Most importantly, our instructors dedicate themselves to providing your child with an environment in which they feel safe in expressing the full range of emotions required in developing their performing arts skills.
