I am a small in-home state licensed daycare based out of North Hanford. I serve families with infants through school age children (NO age limit). I also provide after school care and summer care for school age children if needed. I keep a very structured and consistent routine with the children. I have the children on a routine including meal times, inside play time/games, nap time, story time, crafts, preschool activities and outside play. In addition to the above, I also do basic ASL with the children; words we use on a daily basis (please, thank you, nice, friend, share, smart, good girl, good boy, milk, eat, more, sorry, etc.) I also work on their colors, certain toy items (i.e., book, ball, airplane, animals, etc). This is really beneficial with babies and/or toddlers who are late talkers. We also make time after breakfast for "circle time" which is where we sing a good morning song and welcome our friends to daycare; followed by stretching, turning, jumping and fun little moves to get them ready for their day! Structure and consistency is what makes my daycare so successful, in addition to having a fun, loving environment for the children, which makes them feel at home! They LOVE playing with their daycare friends everyday, which soon feel like family! We are one big happy daycare family! :-) I look forward to adding your precious one to our daycare family!
