Hello, My name is Jennifer G and I am opening a 24 hour childcare to help low income or no income families. I have been watching and caring for children all my life. How I decided to help others. I was working at a call center on late night shift. I had a very hard time finding childcare for my three boys that was licensed and affordable, I couldn't find anything. I had to go with someone who wasn't licensed, I only saw my children for 20 minutes a day. I would pick them up from school and drop them off at childcare. This made me sad and depressed. I knew I needed to do something. I thought about going back to school started looking into it and prayed everyday. I left like I was in a dead in job with no purpose in life but work and barley make it. I kept praying about my situation and one day I thought opening a childcare to help others in my situation. I love being with my kids and caring for others. I thought why not! I knew the need was there and I could not only spend a lot more time with my kids but could help others. So here I am opening up the Around the Clock Daycare. I am SIDS, first aide and CPR certified. I have my pre license and starting a waiting list for our Grand Opening. I am currently working with a non profit corp. to set our no income program to help the parents that have lost there jobs who don't have the funding for daycare while looking for a job. We will have a 30 day program for free childcare. At the end of the 30 days you can provide information on the new job you are starting we will extend your childcare free until you get your first pay check and then at that point you can start paying for the childcare. This is going to be a Great program to help others in need. There are so many families that are in need and I am so glad I am going to be able to help these families. I FINALLY have a purpose! I love it!
