I have a certificate in Early Childhood Education and I am a member of local childcare associations. My assistant and I are trained in CPR and First Aid and take advantage of regular continuing education in the childcare field. I am also a member of Daycare Resources which helps us to provide nutritious breakfast, lunch, and snack. Apple Tree provides a safe and nurturing family environment with a child-to-teacher ratio of 6 to 1. This small group setting allows for plenty of loving, personal attention. At Apple Tree, children enjoy a large, stimulating, and educational classroom with an abundance of developmentally appropriate toys and activities. Children also enjoy our spacious outdoor play yard in a beautiful country setting. In addition to plenty of free playtime, Apple Tree offers a daily preschool curriculum to promote social, emotional, physical, cognitive, and creative development. Activities include: * Art activities to promote creativity * Music and Movement * Science activities for a sense of wonder * Gardening and Nature activities. * Language development activities * Pre-writing, reading, and math activities * Dramatic play and dress up * Plenty reading and library books to explore * Blocks and Manipulatives * Table top games and puzzles * Sensory experiences for all ages * Large and small motor development activities * Manners and self-help skills are encouraged * School aged activities and homework help * Tons of encouragement, support, and love Now enrolling infants, toddlers, and preschool children as well as before and after school care for elementary-aged children.
