Preschool
"The Great Summer Adventure!" Our summer preschool program runs from July 7 - Aug 15, MWF 9-11am. Registration is flexible: you may register for one week or 6 weeks - one day a week, or all three! Reserve your child's spot by May 16! For the past 40 years, The Professional Center for Child Development's mission has been to provide therapeutic and educational services for children of all abilities and their families, working with each child to develop to his or her full potential. We strive to eliminate barriers to growth and development for children with disabilities and families coping with health issues and challenges. Our Two by Three Preschool experience for ages 3 to 5 years focuses on the child's social and emotional development by fostering independence, self-reliance and positive self-esteem using a developmental curriculum. We have small classes with a teacher/child ratio of 1:3. We offer a rolling enrollment for children of all abilities. We find that integrated classrooms allow children to gain a greater acceptance for one another's differences and abilities. Our Two by Three Preschool sets children on a path for future educational success. Classes meet 9:00 -11:45 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. We also offer a flexible 6 week summer preschool program. Our Saturday "Play Pals" group is designed for 3-5 year old children who would benefit from a small group setting for developing important speech-language and social skills using play-based therapy. Play Pals meet on Saturday mornings from 10:00-11:30. We also offer Two by Two Toddler groups for an integrated toddler experience. Our playgroups for 2 and 3 year olds focus on play and positive social interactions. Children strengthen their sense of independence, preparing them for their future preschool experience. We have a flexible & ongoing enrollment with groups running throughout the year. Morning, afternoon, and summer sessions available. Our Developmental Day School provides a comprehensive educational and therapeutic program for children ages 3-10 who have multiple disabilities, moderate to severe developmental delay, complex care needs or medical needs. As the Agency's original and longest running program, the school has been in existence since our opening in 1973.
