Professional In-Person And Online Tutor Who Can Close The Academic Gap In A Snap!

My love of teaching stems from a journey of lifelong learning. As a Certified Elementary Educator, I've obtained three college degrees: AAS in Computers, BBA in Business Administration: Management and a M. Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction: Reading. I have over 100 hours of professional development credits (CPDUs/CEUs). I've had the pleasure of teaching and tutoring hundreds of children for over 10 years. My mission is to help children develop confidence, improve learning skills, build good work habits and begin to achieve true potential by improving their grades. I position myself in the market as professional, knowledgeable in my field, flexible in my teaching style, patient with all ages of children, honest with parents/students, trustworthy, and reliable. I am focused on providing tutoring services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction and will do everything I can to meet and exceed your expectations. I'm available in-person and online to offer K-8th grade students year-round tutoring of the Common Core State Standards (CCSS) in Elementary English Language Arts and Math. Pre- and Post-Assessments will be conducted to determine strengths and weaknesses and to document the progress students make during our tutoring sessions. I create independent lesson plans so that the student will stay ahead of the class or subjects/skills and close the gaps in what they are not grasping in school. My approach to learning is hands-on and individualized. I focus on the child's interests and strive to make learning fun, engaging and challenging. I create a strong bond with each child through support and trust. The key to my success in tutoring is the ongoing communication between myself, students, parents and teachers. I look forward to hearing from you. Know that you are entrusting your child's academic future to someone who is highly qualified to meet their needs. As a Certified Elementary Educator, I've obtained three college degrees: AAS in Computers, BBA in Business Administration: Management and a M. Ed. in Curriculum & Instruction: Reading.
