Looking for a caregiver for our Adult family member with Autism Spectrum Disorder in Wixom.

We are looking for a caring and patient person to spend time with our special needs son here in our home after the bus drops him off from school. Our son is a very happy kid, and I'm sure that whoever we choose to be his companion will be quite happy spending time with him. Right now we would not need anyone on Wednesdays. For some weeks, we would need this person for four days, but on other weeks we may only need one or two days - the schedule would vary. We can be flexible with this person, too, on their schedule. For long-term, we would be looking to have this person in the summer months, when school is out - hours would then increase. Additional needs include having a reliable car, being comfortable with pets and a non-smoker. We look forward to hearing from you!

Our daughter is 10 and is nonverbal, she is very active loves to run around and jump! She loves to play on her tablet and stack blocks. She has a severe cognitive impairment and also has behavior problems at times that can include spitting and hair pulling. She is also Incontinent. She is currently in the hospital but will be returning home soon. We are looking to secure CLS staffing before she comes home. Additional needs include meal prep, having a reliable car and being comfortable with pets. Family Age Groups: Youth. Diagnosis: Autism Spectrum Disorder, Sensory Integration Disorder, Cognitive Disabilities, Developmental Delays, Speech Delay, ADHD, Seizure Disorder, Epilepsy.
