She communicates with a device and knows what is going on! We are looking for someone for O. to have fun with. All play. She loves shopping, taking walks, dancing, slime, reading, makeup, dress up, playing games and watching movies. We are looking for afterschool help on Thursday and Friday. Ideally, you are familiar with g-tubes.

Hi! My name is Nicole and I am a 30-year-old woman living in Cambridge, MA. I use a motorized wheelchair and crutches to move around because I have cerebral palsy that creates tightness in my muscles. I work from home and am looking for a personal assistant to come by 2-3 days a week for a few hours at a time to help with errands, meal prep, tidying (dishes, sweeping the floor, wiping down surfaces etc.), some personal care. Including stretching, short walks, and assistance putting on socks/ shoes (I can bathe and toilet myself independently). I travel a good amount so scheduling can be flexible week by week. Someone with a car would be ideal because I may occasionally need transportation support to appointments etc. Additionally, someone with physical therapy experience or experience helping a wheelchair user is preferred.

A family in Brookline is seeking a motivated, compassionate and reliable individual to care for a 17-year-old who has mobility challenges arising from chronic illness. Your responsibilities will include preparing meals, snacks, and assistance with daily living tasks including toileting, dressing and feeding. At least one of the parents will be around at all times to help as needed, including for all trips to the bathroom. As time allows, you will also be asked to assist with light housework such as laundry, dusting, tidying the kitchen, swift the floor and wiping down surfaces. Our ideal match will meet the requirements below: Experience providing services to individual with Special Needs, and willingness to work with the goals we have established for this period, mainly increase knowledge about Life Skills, with some practice at home and in the community. We are tentatively looking for full-time help for our good natured son V, contingent on a potential job offer. V is 10 months old but 6 1/2 months when adjusting for prematurity. Due to prematurity, he has chronic lung disease and aspirates liquids so has a g-tube until he can transition to solid foods. He's an otherwise very sweet and loving boy. We are seeking someone who can administer g-tube feeds, can play and read to V, can help him with his PT/OT exercises, and as the feeds get easier we'd love for you to take V outside. We require full vaccination, that you are a nonsmoker, and that you know CPR/first aid. Also, if you speak French that is a plus but not required. In Search of qualified Nurses. My son is a special needs 4-year-old. He is non verbal and dependent on assistance. He is tube fed and is currently on dialysis awaiting a kidney transplant. I am looking for a qualified nurse to help with daily activities; making medications and formula for feeding, administering medications and formula for feeding, prepping him for the day, riding on the school bus and staying at school with him.
