I am looking for a person that has worked with special need . I have a son who is 22 years of age . This person must have patience and caring and loving and understanding . You will have to make sure his seizure medications are given and prepare meals for him as need . This is a part- time job as needed

Our ideal caregiver: Needs experience with nonverbal special needs children with also seizure knowledge. We need a babysitter to take care of 3 children in Slidell. Some light housekeeping is required. We do have pets, so please consider that when applying. We could use help with structuring activities. I have a high functioning autistic son, he is 11 years old, that I am looking for help with 2 days a week, 3 hours a day. It can be any 2 days of the week, any 3hrs between 9am-3 p.m. He is verbal, and very active. He has never been aggressive, very sweet child, who needs someone with LOTS OF PATIENCE to help keep him busy. He needs lots of redirection which is why I say you must have patience. I'm looking for someone to take him to the park, on bike rides, the park, etc. I would pay for all the fun for the both of you, and I would pay you for your time. I'm looking for someone who enjoys playing WITH him, not watching him play, he NEEDS INTERACTION, he doesn't have the imagination to play on his own.

I could not possibly describe everything you need to know about C in this box. I will be there to provide all the training you need to learn his particular needs. He's a very happy child 90% of the time, affectionate and with enough energy to put the energizer bunny to shame. You will be required to handle medication, nosebleeds, and be around a cat and mini pig. I don't have a set schedule yet. Most likely will be 6-9 a.m. Mon-Fri primary to get him ready for school and onto the bus.. As well as one afternoon a week to transport C to therapy from school and then back home. Basically every morning I just need you to get him ready for school, put him on the bus and make sure his room is clean.
