Looking for a part-time caregiver for our 4-year-old twins in Darien. One boy is special needs. He may be autistic but we do not have a diagnosis yet. Special needs training or experience is a must. We are looking for a weekend babysitter (3 hours every other week-day / time is very flexible) for now. I would like someone with some flexibility for occasional extra jobs when the need arises. We don't yet know our schedule for the fall but I may need someone who can pick up one of the boys from preschool during the week and drive him to an association around 1 / 1:45 p.m. We have 2 dogs and a cat. Light housework only if babysitting at night and the boys are asleep. Ideal match will meet the requirements below.

Our current nanny is leaving for health reasons. We live in Darien and have a 3. 5-year-old Autistic son and 2-year-old daughter. Our son has a very structured schedule that has him with therapists or at school most of the day. He is absolutely adorable and will melt your heart. Our other daughter has a 2s program 3 mornings a week. We would like someone with experience caring for two young children, someone who is patient and firm but has lots of kindness and love to give. We would prefer someone who has worked with a special needs family before but we are open to someone who is willing to learn. My husband and I are looking for a 40 hour/week live-out nanny to care for our adorable, happy 8-month-old boy. Must be comfortable with a dog in the home! Expected hours are Mon-Fri 9am-5 p.m. with possible extra hours in the morning or evening as needed. Our child has no special needs other than he temporarily is wearing a helmet to correct his head shape.. My husband and I both have hybrid jobs, so we will sometimes be present in the house. You may be asked to handle basic, baby-related household tasks while he naps.
